Creative Partner & Lebanon Studio Lead

Omar is an architect and educator with experience across Beirut, New York, and the MENA Region, working at the intersection of conceptual thinking, collaborative design, and built practice.

He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s GSAPP and a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut, where he currently teaches. With a deep interest in theory, material exploration, and critical design methods, Omar brings a sharp, lateral-thinking approach to every project.

Known for his ability to challenge assumptions and uncover new perspectives, he thrives in team-based environments that value inquiry and experimentation.

Creative Director and US Studio Lead

Rami is a curious and empathetic Creative Director with over a decade of experience across design, management, and higher education.

With a background in Design Studies, Architecture, Studio Arts, and Art History, he approaches design as a collaborative, multifaceted discipline—balancing its sense-making and problem-solving capacities.

In addition to leading twig, he is a Strategic Design & Management Coordinator and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design in New York.

Rami is known for leading with clarity, fostering collaboration, and turning complex ideas into impactful design. He is deeply committed to advancing social justice through innovation, education, and thoughtful creative direction.

Multidisciplinary Designer & Australia Studio Lead

Sirena Varma is a designer and artist working across visual arts, graphic design, and exhibition design. Based in Magan-djin (Brisbane), she brings over a decade of experience in refining collaborative processes grounded in co-creation and collective memory.

With a Bachelor in Architecture and a self-taught graphic design practice, Sirena’s interdisciplinary praxis translates complex cultural narratives into evocative engagements. Her work is deeply shaped by her Lebanese, Palestinian, German, and Indian heritage, exploring the storytelling potential of migration and materiality.

As co-founder of Magan-djin Creatives for Palestine, she is committed to cultural care and social resistance. Her recent work includes Blatt & Matonelli, a collaboration reimagining traditional tile-making as a contemporary conversation between Levantine aesthetics and Australian migration histories.
