Designed in response to the horrific events unfolding in Palestine by Sirena Varma; our part Palestinian co-founder, these pins are not just accessories; they're symbols of solidarity to the Palestinian plight.
The design features a watermelon, which has the same colors as the Palestinian flag. It became a symbol of resistance after displaying the flag became a criminal offence.
The design also incorporates graphic elements of a Keffiyeh, a scarf with an iconic pattern of cultural and historical significance. Today, wearing a keffiyeh shows support and solidarity to the Palestinian plight.
