Urgent Fundraiser for Lebanon - Ends Oct 6

from A$5.00
Sold Out

WHY

This fundraiser calls for an urgent appeal to the international community to provide aid to the Lebanese people after the violent attacks and air strikes on residential areas all over the country. Israel's intense bombing campaign has been relentlessly ongoing since September 23, forcing tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes and leave everything behind. These displaced individuals are seeking refuge in schools, organisations, and living on the streets. These spaces are not equipped to handle the influx, and are in desperate need of basic necessities.

The most effective way the Lebanese diaspora and international community can help, is to support and provide funds to trusted people working tirelessly on the ground in Lebanon.

WHAT

This fundraiser will be open till October 6th, after which all funds will be sent to Maya Ayache, who has been gathering and distributing essential supplies such as food, blankets, mattresses, and more. You can follow her actions and breakdown of funds received through her Instagram account.

Please donate what you can, even as little as $5 can go a long way.

Tears That Water the Land Lino Print

For any donations over $45, you will receive an original artwork of these Limited Edition prints - only available during the fundraiser period. Illustrated and hand carved by Sirena Varma, these lino prints are printed onto Khadi paper; a handmade and fairly traded paper made from 100% long fibre cotton rag. The paper is mounted on an A5 card.

For the breakdown of cost, $5 will go towards materials and packaging, and the rest will be donated.

Please expect a 2 week turnaround before artwork is shipped. Shipping is applied at checkout.
